Safari Zones in Pench National Park
The forest of Pench National Park is divided into two categories one is core zone and other one is buffer zone.
Core Zones - Jhamtara, Karmajhiri, Touria
Buffer Zones - Khawasa, Khumbhpani, Rukhad, Teliya

Turia Zone
Turia Zone is easily reachable through Turia Gates which is very close to the border of Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh. You can have a glimpse of leopard, jackals, chitals, and unique birds. This safari zone is well-known for the Collarwali Tigeress who is no more but you can get to see her 29 cubs here only.
Karmajheri Zone
Karmajheri zone is one of the best zones in Pench National Park and famous for the sightings of Gaur and Sambhar along with various unique birds.
Jamtara Zone
In Madhya Pradesh, the entry gate of this zone is located in Jamtara Village in the Chindwara district. Sloth Bears have been sighted here in the past. You can go on a Jeep Safari for 3 to 4 hours in Jamtara Zone. From Chendia ghat, tourists can cross to other zones when the river is dry and reach the breakfast point of Alikatta.
(Buffer Zones)
Rukhad Zone
This hilly zone of Pench National Park and this wet area are dotted with flowing streams, Bamboo, Jamun, and Arjun Trees. There are few tigresses within the area, which you may spot in the course of the jeep safari.
Teliya Zone
This zone is well-known for its big population of Black Panther and Leopard. You can view Leopard, Black Panther, Barking Deer, Chowsingha, and Blue Bull Antelope in this zone. The jungle safari right here additionally has water holes in the zone.
Khawasa Zone
Khwasa zone is very close to the Turia gate and night safari in this zone will give you good experience. Khwasa zone is natural habitat for animals like wolves, foxes, porcupines, and owls.
Khumbhpani Zone
Khumbhpani zone is very close to Khwasa zone and here you can experience wildlife full on. You get to see wild creatures like tigers, birds and many more.
