Pench is best known for its Royal Bengal tiger. It is estimated that there are about 22 males and 22 females’ a total of 40 tigers in the park based on the latest Tiger Census. Apart from the tiger, there are 39 types of mammals, 13 kinds of reptiles, and 3 kinds of amphibians who dwell in the region.
